Rugged NFC tags for metal

Asset tagging is an integral part of operations for many companies and organizations that own and manage large amounts of property. Tagging makes it easier for these companies to work with various tools and items they need to keep track of - where they are located, what condition they are in or what their status is. Such assets are usually tagged with printed labels, barcodes or other means.
So why not use something that is easy to read with a mobile phone, has its own unique identification number and is also easy to use? Yes, we are talking about NFC chips.
We would like to introduce a new addition to our e-shop offering - rugged tags made of ABS material, which guarantees the reliability and longevity of NFC chips when tagging your assets, especially in outdoor environments. ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is resistant to mechanical damage and is also waterproof.
These tags are also fitted with a ferrite layer, which allows trouble-free reading of NFC chips even near metal. Tags for metal must have a special construction to avoid interference with the underlying metal, which absorbs the electromagnetic field around the tag and significantly reduces its read range. These tags have a ferrite layer between the bottom plastic layer and the adhesive layer, designed for the case where the tag is stuck onto metal and you want to read it from the front.
At the same time, these tags, which are 29 mm in diameter, are fitted with a bottom adhesive layer, with 3M adhesive guaranteeing long-term adhesion even in damp conditions. As for the internal specification, these tags come with one of the best-selling chips - the NTAG213, which provides 144B of user memory, the option to lock the tag with your own password and other useful features that come with the latest NTAG21X chip series.
Of course, there are no limits to your imagination - if you needed a different type of chip, this change can easily be arranged. In the field of asset tagging, NFC technology is also one of the most reliable techniques. So what are you waiting for? Now is the time to switch to the most modern and smartest way of easily obtaining information about your assets.
