DogNTag - a unique solution to dog problems
DogNTag - an intelligent dog tag using modern NFC technology and a QR code.
Unlike classic engraved tags, the smart DogNTag dog tag offers the option to store far more detailed information about your dog. This information is stored in an online space we have named the Dog Page (Psíkostránka) and can be easily displayed using a mobile phone or PC with internet access. There are three ways in total to display the Dog Page:
- using NFC technology, which modern mobile phones support
- using the QR code shown on the tag
- by entering the ID number on the dogntag.com website (the number is shown on the tag)
A great advantage is that, in case a dog is found, the finder does not have to call and wait for an animal capture service that has readers for chips placed under the skin. They can display the data immediately and entirely on their own.
As soon as the tag is read, the system automatically sends the dog's owner an e-mail informing them that the tag has been read. If the dog's finder allows location detection in their browser, a map of the place where the DogNTag tag was read is also sent together with the e-mail.
