How can you enable or disable Cookies in your browser?

Internet Explorer 7.0
In the Tools menu select the last option, Internet Options. A window with the internet options settings will open. Here select the Personal Settings (or Privacy) tab. Choose the medium setting:

Click the OK button.



Firefox 3
In the Tools menu select the last option, Options... A window with the Firefox options settings will open. Here select the Privacy item. The following setting will be displayed:

Tick the "Allow servers to set cookies" checkbox and click the OK button.



Internet Explorer 6.0
In the Tools menu select the last option, Internet Options. A window with the internet options settings will open. Here select the Personal Settings (or Privacy) tab, so the open window looks like this:

Here click the Advanced... button and a new window will open. Tick the option Override automatic cookie handling and check that Accept (Enabled) is selected in both columns. The resulting window will therefore look like this:


Close both windows by clicking the OK buttons.



Firefox
In the Tools menu select the last option, Options... A window with the Firefox options settings will open. Here select the Privacy item. The following setting will be displayed:

Tick both checkboxes in the Cookies item and click the OK button.



Internet Explorer 5.0/5.5
In the Tools menu select the last option, Internet Options. A window with the internet options settings will open. Here select the Security tab. Check that you have the Internet security zone selected (at the top, among the row of icons, the Internet icon); if not, click on it. Then click the Custom Level... button. The following window will open:

Find the Cookies group of options and set both options to Accept (Enabled). Close both windows by clicking the OK buttons.



Mozilla
In the Edit menu select the last option, Preferences. A window with the internet options settings will open. In the left-hand Categories pane, expand the Privacy & Security group by clicking the +. From the expanded topics select Cookies. So the window looks as follows:

Among the first four options select the last option, Enable all cookies. Close the window by clicking the OK button.



Netscape
In the Edit menu select the last option, Preferences. A window with the internet options settings will open. In the left-hand Categories pane select the Advanced group. So the window looks as follows:

In the Cookies section select the first option, Accept all cookies. Close the window by clicking the OK button.
